Accessibility Statement
Effective date: August 14, 2026
Our commitment
Legacy Inventory is committed to making its website and mobile application accessible and usable for people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to use the Service, and we are working to improve the accessibility of our digital experiences.
If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing content, completing a task, or using a feature, please contact us. We will make a good-faith effort to provide the information or assistance you need through an alternative method.
Accessibility standards
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA success criteria where technically feasible. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Because Legacy Inventory uses a device camera, photographs, optical character recognition, and AI-generated visual analysis, some parts of the experience are inherently visual. We provide alternative ways to interact with the Service where possible, including a manual item-entry path that does not require a camera.
Compatibility
The Legacy Inventory iOS app is designed to work with VoiceOver, Voice Control, Switch Control, Dynamic Type, Bold Text, and Reduce Motion on iOS 18 and later. This website is designed to work with current versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, in combination with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS. An Android version is in development and will be held to the same accessibility standards.
What we are doing on the website
- Using semantic HTML and ARIA labels to support screen readers.
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements.
- Ensuring interactive elements are reachable and usable with a keyboard.
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Testing the website with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard/screen-reader checks.
What we are doing in the iOS app
Supporting VoiceOver with meaningful labels, hints, and announcements for all interactive controls.
Ongoing Efforts
- Accessibility review is part of our release process for new features.
- We audit the app with Apple's Accessibility Inspector and perform manual VoiceOver testing.
- We regularly test this website with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks.
- We track and prioritize accessibility feedback from users.
Known limitations
The live camera viewfinder and AI photo analysis are inherently visual. Users who cannot operate a camera or interpret visual media can use the manual entry path to add items, but the camera-based identification step requires sight or assistance from another person.
AI-generated descriptions and estimates are based on visual analysis and may not accurately describe items for users relying on screen readers. Generated content should be reviewed and edited before use.
Third-party marketplace integrations, embedded content, and external links are controlled by other providers and may not meet the same accessibility standards.
Feedback and accommodation requests
If you encounter an accessibility barrier in Legacy Inventory or on this website, or if you need assistance or information in an alternative format, please contact us. We take all feedback seriously and will make reasonable efforts to address issues promptly — typically within 5 business days.
Email: support@legacyinventory.com (please use the subject line "Accessibility Feedback")
When contacting us, it helps to include the page or screen where you encountered the issue, the assistive technology and browser or device you were using, and a brief description of the problem.
Third-party content and marketplaces
Legacy Inventory may display or link to third-party websites, marketplaces, payment processors, and social platforms. We do not control those services and cannot guarantee their accessibility. If you encounter a barrier on a third-party site, please contact that provider directly.
Effective date
This Accessibility Statement is effective as of August 14, 2026 and may be updated as the Service evolves.
Enforcement and Formal Complaints
We encourage you to contact us directly first so we can resolve your concern quickly. If you are in the United States and are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, or your local enforcement authority.
